LanChelms 11 - Posted at 03:48 PM on November 28th, 2005 by Jeff
It was a long wait, but it is finally here. LanChelms 11 has arrived. Our next event is scheduled for January 28th, 2006 from 9AM to 10PM in the same place as last time, the Sts. Vartanantz Armenian church.

We are really looking forward to this event, and we hope you will join us for a great time.

LPANE Nor'Easter Fall 2005 - Posted at 08:24 PM on August 4th, 2005 by Brian
The LPANE staff is pleased to announce our next event scheduled for September 17th and 18th, 2005 in Wilmington, MA which will support 500 gamers! Registration is now open on our web site, so be sure to sign up quickly for the event as seats will most likely fill up fast. Our last event earlier this year brought together about 350 players for a great party! For reviews of the event, be sure to check out HotHardware and Tom's Hardware. Please prepay for the event if you plan on coming, because it helps us better prepare!

We hope to see you on September 17th-18th!

Server Downtime - Posted at 08:32 PM on June 27th, 2005 by Jeff
Our web server was down from about 6AM to 8PM today. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our host moved our server to a new, faster, more reliable data center.

Battlefield 2 - Posted at 02:38 AM on June 12th, 2005 by Brian
The LanChelms admins have been playing the demo for Battlefield 2, the sequel to the very popular Battlefield 1942, and it's popular mod, Desert Combat.

I'm excited to note that BF2 is to be released on June 21st, just 4 days before LanChelms. We recommend pre-ordering a copy, as the squad play and familiarity to Desert Combat make this a LAN game you will definately want to have.

This game will very likely be a Game of the Hour, so make sure you get yourself a copy before LC10.

On an additional note, LanChelms is enacting a new, no pay-at-the-door policy. This means that if you wish to attend LanChelms, you must prepay. Battlefield's release date makes LanChelms the first major LAN in the area to have it, so don't miss out!

LanChelms 10 Announced! - Posted at 01:11 AM on April 30th, 2005 by Paul
The vote is in, we are not going to call this event "LCX". Nor are we calling it "LC 01010", "LC A", "LanChelms Kappa", or anything of the sort. We are calling it LanChelms 10, and registration is now open. The event will take place on June 25th, 2005 - right before the summer gets too hot. Also at this event we will be selling 100% authentic and limited edition LanChelms T-Shirts, so be sure to bring an extra $5 so you can take home a piece of LanChelms history.

As usual we will have a 160 person capacity, so make sure you Sign up and prepay as soon as you can. Spots will fill up fast.

We're expecting a great event for our big number 10, and we hope you'll join us.

LPANE - Posted at 03:18 PM on May 12th, 2004 by Jeff
For the past three months, the administrators from LAN Parties all over New England have been forming a group called the LAN Party Association of New England (LPANE). The association's website can be found at http://www.lpane.net

LPANE was formed to help inform gamers around New England of upcoming events, while allowing admins to schedule party dates collectively to reduce conflicting dates. This is also a great tool to help gamers get to more parties and have a blast.

LanChelms 7 REALLY Full - Posted at 07:35 PM on April 20th, 2004 by Jeff

LanChelms 7 Player Increase - Posted at 10:41 AM on April 7th, 2004 by Jeff
After a lot of consideration and power work, we have decided to increase LanChelms 7 to 160 people. Everyone who was on the waiting list is now marked as paid and registration is open again. Anyone who hasn't sent in their payment yet now has the chance to do so. Currently, there are only 36 seats left so I suggest you get your payment in as soon as possible if you plan to attend.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting us while we sorted out the prepay issues and considered expanding. We hope to see you at LanChelms!
